What are side quests?
Side Quests are passion projects cooked up behind the scenes by the various Diceaholics that we cast in our streams.
They can be anything from occasional drawing streams, to podcasts, writing projects, and pretty much anything in-between.
They take place across all of our socials, most notably Discord and Twitch, with the possibility of spreading things out as desired.
If you’re looking for a little bit of interactivity or entertainment, but aren’t wanting to commit to a full AP, then pick up a side quest!

Let me sell you a story…
The Lair of the Storyseller is a monthly community exercise in Discord in which Julian (and whoever wishes to participate) develop an entire TTRPG setting in one month using community-voted prompts to determine genre, aesthetic, theme, and strange factor— an odd piece of lore that must be included in the game.
By the end of each month, a complete setting will include creative writing to set the mood, general rules for what a game should consider when using the setting, three nonplayer characters, and three quests.
Discord members can participate in developing the settings by pitching ideas for inclusion and brainstorming plot points, receiving credit for the final creation, and downloading the end product for free. Older projects can be found on Itch.io for a pittance.
Enter the lair of the storyseller!

She’s a lich. She’s a lady. She’s hyperfixating.
After decades of slumber beneath a haunted lake, Alissa has finally risen. Her skeleton army cares for her; the nearest sign of civilization is hundreds of miles away. Her dark desires can only be satiated with one thing: Video games.
Yeah, you read that right. The village necromancer is using her army of the damned to facilitate a functioning stream schedule where she will play video games that entertain her and, perhaps, you. Hundreds of years ago, she had an appetite for wanton destruction, so hopefully, this new hobby will stave off any more priests that might come knockin' on her door.
Every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, she’ll be streaming over on twitch.tv/lichladygames. She extends an invitation to you, the viewer. Provided, of course, that you bring snacks, a ghost or two, and a desire for “shenanigans.”
